| well i finally got it done.. last night i figured id give the retry button one last click, before i went out to the bar.. and i came home.. only to see it say "updated" i was like "wooooooohoooooooooo" so my advice is just keep on trying.. it will eventually work i guess, i didnt do anything special aside from the occasional deleting of the tmp files.... and i didnt even do that ALL the time... usually just kept clicking retry.. its frustrating and time consuming but eventually it should finish up.... regardless it shouldnt happen in the first place but...
and aside from that. now when i get to the character selection screen, if i press down (to go from human male to whatever else i want to look at, it crashes on human female, everytime, to my desktop.. so my only choice is being a human =/ i dont know what gives with this game but gaaaaaaawd) |
