| Major Computer Issues Last night, in the middle of playing, my computer froze. Not uncommon with computers and demanding apps like FFXI, but when i rebooted, i got the message "Operating System Not Found". I work in IT for a software company, so i take the usual steps to rectify it, in the end, I had to re-install my OS and all my apps, including downloading 1.5 hrs of FFXI updates. I'm back up and running now, but this does make me a tad worried. What is downright fishy is that in the middle of this, my friend calls me and says he rebooted his computer after playing FFXI and now gets, "Operating System Not Found". Has anyone else had issues like this? virus through playonline? mr. murphy paying a visit? Let me know if you've had similiar issues. |
