| i think fast cast has a little variation. when you cast spell you'll see a guage running from 0 to 100 indicating your cast time.
your magic skill will shorten the time, and fast cast will shorten the time. how short it can be is not... fixed, i think.
i normally finish casting escape when the guage is still around 50-60% these days...  There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
transform a yellow spot into the sun.
