im really considering being a blk/rdm, since i think its a VERY GOOD combo. these are my reasons for subbing rdm.

1) red mage's lv 15 passive ability fast cast, an extreme help.

2) red mages passive abilities magic attack up and magic defense up. you get a good boost of strength in magic on TOP OF the black mage's.

3) you get access to weapon enchanting spells, a bit of white magic etc.

4) i know it wont happen for a while but when the level cap is raised to 85 (soon will be 70) then refresh and convert will be a LIFESAVER.

i dont really want to be a secondary healer, thats why i didnt sub wht, the wht magic spells from the rdm are mainly to help me survive when soloing.

anyway, all opinions are welcome. any suggestions or comments will be appreciated.
