Well, summoning will not be a seperate job. Mages will be able to summon, so you don't have to get rid of either blm or whm. But, keeping blm or whm is a personal issue. They both are good, and very wanted in PT's. In most games, i find Black Mages more fun to use than White Mages, but like i said, it is a personal preferance

EDIT : Also, you don't start out with the ability to have a sub job. You must do a mission at lvl 18 to recieve the ability to use a sub job. And i would imagine you know how the sub job thingy works
