The news you've all been waiting for - we can confirm that Doctor Who will return in the UK, US and Canada on 1st September with Asylum of the Daleks!

UK – 7.20pm on BBC One
US – 9.00pm ET on BBC America
Canada – 9.00pm ET on Space

There will be 5 Mini Webisodes released by BBC on Youtube about the Ponds about their times between travels with the Doctor. The final one will lead up to a cliffhanger going into the Asylum of the Daleks.

Rumor

The Ponds last episode is "The Angels take Manhattan" (not the rumor, but nice Muppet's reference). The rumor is that the Statue of Liberty is actually a Weeping Angel.

So I'm guessing it'll be shown on either the 8th or 11th (I was looking at the August calender) of September over here in Australia. I think we usually get the episodes a week later.

The new series of Doctor Who, including "Asylum of the Daleks", then starts on ABC1 the following Saturday, 8 September at 7.30pm EST, there you go mate or you can watch it premiere in Australia on ABC's iview at 5.10am EST on Sunday 2 September (straight after airing in the UK)!
